Today we have released PowerDNS Recursor 5.3.4.

This release is a maintenance release that fixes a few bugs and introduces a few improvements. The most important ones are:

- Potential OpenTelemetry EDNS values are skipped when comparing queries and calculating packet cache hashes.
- The parsing of webserver loglevel “none” in YAML settings has been fixed.

There are also a few other bug fixes and improvements, please refer to the changelog ([5.3.4](https://doc.powerdns.com/recursor/changelog/5.3.html#change-5.3.4)) for additional details.

Recently we made changes to our Open Source End of Life policy. Older release trains are now supported for one year after the following major release. Consult the EOL [policy](https://docs.powerdns.com/recursor/appendices/EOL.html) for more details.
